  1. This actually looks legit but I hear it's not as valuable as alot of the other errors n varieties...
  2. Having trouble determining if this is a MOM or Die deterioration...
  3. I'm getting a USB microscope tomorrow and get to the bottom of it but you thing is just to smooth for it to be dirty as other forums have suggested is although I don't know how long it takes for rust to build on the surface of a coin but keep in mind this is only a year old and although there does appear to be a little bit of rust the but really up close that look just like black metal but it's not IP but I had heard that if it's missing the clad or part of the Clad whatever it may come out that way, also a link to a video showing how the coins cones are made during the minting process like a good one the right to the point would be appreciated that way I don't have to say silly things like this dime is missing its top coat or is enamel... 4. This 82 Denver Mint penny is a Large Date variety but yet weighs 3.8 as opposed to the 3.1 and 2.5 that those pennys should weigh. The 82 small date auctioned for 18K, that one weighed in at 3.8. Has anyone come across any 3.8 Gram pennys of the 82 variety? I realize there's an acceptable weight deviation bit this is not A scale error as I weighed it multiple times along with my 3.1 Gram cents and always comes out the same...
  5. Lemme dig out my real camera ACS take some better ones

  8. It is for sure large date but what I'm saying though is it does have some curvature to its almost makes it look like a small and the more I stare at the more it looks like the small one instead of the the large I was just wondering if anyone else thought it did have a little bit of curve to it you can have as obviously a large but not as obvious as some of the other ones I posted
  9. The to of his hair is black but post of there coin I'm almost certain... Ko
  10. although I finally figured out how to tell the difference between a large and a small day it took a whole day is it just me or does this one still kind of have a curve to it even though I know it's a large date, or is it just me staring at long enough hope it's a small date it will turn into one...

  13. Someone tell me I hit the jackpot with this crazy messed up 2014 Dime, nah but it looks like it's got several issues starting with the clad and does not appear to be post Mint...

  18. As I understand that they weren't supposed to mint the small dates at Denver but a few of them got made anyway and those are the valuable ones the Denver 3.1 small date
  19. So if I read that right if someone had a 1982 Small Date Denver it is the most valuable? The reason I ask is one of the videos I watched showed one in not mint state going for $1800,00 at auction but the more I understand the more confusing it is, not really but sort of, thanks though...
  20. hello thank you in advance for any help you give me I am trying to watch all these videos about the 82 pennies large date this small date that I have three that weighs 3.1 grams but believe they're all large date so do those have any value at all cuz it doesn't specify on either the videos they're all Denver mint that weighs 3.1 grams, if you read my ignorant this is only my second month dealing with coins...
  21. Has anyone ever seen one of these?JDR
  22. So I see each these YouTube videos about 1982 small dates struck on copper planchette what happens if you have a large date 1982 penny that weighs 3.1 grams they have no value at all it's a still an error right?
  23. as an amateur and still learning I want to doing this for 2 months I came across these 1982 pennies and I understand that they're supposed to be 2.5 grams except for the small date which can weigh 3.1 or 3.8 according to his video I saw on YouTube so I'm posting these pictures and tell me why I'm wrong because this can't possibly be real....z thank you
