Thanks for the information, I sent a few emails out and to my surprise I have had an offer of £250... I'm sure it is a collector that has made the offer though... As I said earlier I am not a collector but now am like should I take your advice and hold on to it for 20 to 30 years?

anyone care to comment? I would like to know if I should hang on to it or sell it? Please any feed back welcome..

Hi and thank you for adding me to the forum. I stumbled across your forum trying to gather information. I am looking for some helpful information on a Polymer Royal Bank of Scotland £5 note. I was curious to know it's collectors value... I am not a collector myself. it is as far as I know issued in 2016.. it does not have a low prefix number but I am told that it has an attractive one. it is AV999999. it is in new condition however it has been in circulation.. I hope I have given enough information and I would appreciate any feedback given.. Thank you
