Hi all, I have for no particular reason decided to collect all current 1 pound coins in circulation. Naturally, this has turned into a bit of an obsession but I have come across a coin with an unusual year. Its the Old English Oak coin. This is supposed to have the years 86 or 92 but I have one dated 1997. Its in good quality with minimal wearing but does have a slightly raised on the tail edge of the coin. Naturally I presume it's a fake but I always have hopes of a misprint. Any thoughts?
