So today I went to the odd sock bag in the laundry and got an old athletic sock. I cut out the toe and then wet and rinsed the sock. Now for the cool part. I slid the sock on my left arm like a glove that went all the way to my elbow. Whalla! No rag to drop. Try it next time you have to do this kind of task.

My granddaughter and a couple of her friends have been saving loose change in hopes of taking a road trip this summer. I've been "mining/scavenging" in a couple of gallon collection jars. I have found a few pieces of silver, nothing spectacular, but more than I anticipated. Here's what I found:
