  1. I have 4 sets of these quarters (all kept very securely in tubes) that I spent the 10 years necessary to look through multiple rolls for each and every release to get an average grade of Gem for each coin. This set will only include the original 50 states. I have no problem release at least 2 of these sets, but I probably want to hold at least 1 for myself. When I state an average grade of Gem, that means I personally believe each coin will fall between the MS64-66 range. I firmly believe there are some super gems in the mix and definitely some that don't make the gem level (as my luck with those rolls was not great for whatever strange reason). There should be no coins with any obvious distracting marks or issues. I'm open to ideas for a trade. Obviously, the market value of these are not that high. I'd definitely entertain possible trades of silver.
  2. Please request reverse and missing coin images if you have interest in various pieces. This forum only allows a limited number of images per post, unfortunately.
  3. I'd prefer to a trade in pre-33 gold coin for all or any combination of the below coins. The prices represent approximate Numismedia pricing. Shipping will vary based on coins involved in the trade (and possibly free). If you need higher resolution photos please PM me. Some of these are scans some of which have some white specs or artifacts that, of course, are not part of the coin. 1855 Three Cent Silver VF : $120 1875 Three Cent Nickel Ch VF (SLEEPER; tougher date) : $40 1882 Three Cent Nickel (SCARCE) F+ : $175 1888 Three Cent Nickel (SCARCE) Ch VF : $85 1869 2¢ XF : $55 1870 2¢ Ch VF : $80 1871 2¢ Ch VF : $105 1931-S Lincoln Cent - XF/AU : $105 1950-D Jefferson 5¢ - Choice BU : $13 1912-S Liberty 5¢ - F+ : $200 1908-S Indian Cent - ICG VF25 : $100 1909-S Indian Cent - ICG VF20 : $500 1882 O/S - VAM 3 - ANCACS AU55 : $90 [strongly visible mintmark]
  4. I hope it was okay to reply to a bunch of the museum areas and add pictures. I noticed that most areas had either no pictures or broken picture links.
  5. Here's a semi-key in a very tough to find original, problem-free, circulated condition:
  6. Here's an example that is very difficult to find in AU:
  7. I used to do the same thing, except with a small blade/knife. I've damaged two coins this way. I stopped doing that. Now, I say screw it, I'll never reuse the 2X2 so I'll just cut the plastic holding in the coin and the coin is easily removed unharmed.
  8. As a kid (about 12-14), I bought a 1909-VDB cent (probably VF+), put it in my pocket, went to an arcade and thought I could fool a nickel machine by putting in the cent that was in my pocket. I realized what I had done when I got home. Doh!
  9. I think mine is technically an XF (although it's hard to convince many of that since the strike is so poor). Your's looks to be an AU/BU?
  10. Two...I like yours even better. It has a bit more detail than mine. The rays and snake's head stand out much better.
  11. I have an 1838 whenever 1839 makes its way up here.
  12. Not my picture (but my coin!)
  13. Cool...I have a chance to fill in the 1878 slot!
