It is a very well executed piece based on a classic Greek design. It would be most properly defined as a medal but it is sometimes loosely referred to as a 'token' or 'coin' because it has a denomination (1 Ember), date (2002), and even a mint mark (U).<br><br><b>Obverse Subject -<br><a href="http://www.u.arizona.edu/ic/atheneum/athene.html" target="_blank">Pallas Athene</a></b><br><br><b>Reverse Design -<br><a href="http://www.owlpages.com/mythology/greek.html" target="_blank">Athenian Owl</a></b><br><br><a href="http://www.ciampelli.com/rcc/emberhtm/index.htm" target="_blank"><b>The Story of the RCC Ember</b></a>
