Not a Moose, not even a mouse but when you consider anything with toning is being labeled and priced as a Monster, Neon, Rainbow, Textile, End Roller.......

I'll take this much color on a PQ MS64 for $70 bucks..

Honestly I grade the coin a 65 ...very clean for a 64 but tell me what you think?

Looks really nice to me, Shane bthumbsup.gif
My personal opinion on the grade: a little too much "chatter" on the cheek to make 65.

But what the heck do I know sad.gif

Much of that chatter looks like an old fingerprint. I think it is an old one since it appears that some toning has ocurred around the edge where the print is located. Although it doesn't have to take a long time to tone, the gentleness of the color gradations lends itself to interpreting the toning as old.

I think if it's any other date than an 1880 or 1881 "S" mint Morgan it makes 65 no problem but those two dates especially come so darn nice that the coin really has to be exceptional to make the grade. It's not a coin I would personally resubmit since I only have $70 invested but it's a nice PQ coin and I think the clean surfaces lend themselves to the overall eye appeal of the coin..very frosty Obverse and less PL then I typically see.

Nice toning. Dark and bold toning is really cool to see.

On my end it looks like it has a rainbow of colors. Very cool looking.
