I'm wondering the old red and clear plastic proof cases. (Circa 1962) They were pvc, right?

I don't like busting up proof sets, but.......

If the case is not harming the coins then leave them in there

But if the coins are being harmed and you can tell bust them out

I don't think they are PVC. In fact I thought they were the same stuff that is used to make windows. Like lexan or (can't think of the name right now). You can send Capital an email and ask -- if it's a capital holder it will be trademarked somewhere. Plexiglass -- that's what I think they are...
