Nice 1798 S-173 variety with the cud over the tops of the RTY of LIBERTY and a rotated reverse. The coin has a nice planchet and grades a strong VG+. The only detraction that I can see is an old scratch in the hair that is not evident unless a lens is used. All lettering is evident and strong except for a bit of weakness in the date and the corresponding area on the reverse (variety related). Good panchet that's free of corrosion or pitting, this one is really nice for the type. I'd like $140.00 delivered for the coin.
