Hello Everyone,
I was going through my uncirculated 1977D (6 coin pack)
when i noticed the dime had doubling on REV. and date.
Is this common?I also found doubling on my dime in my
1975 Unc.pack.
Thank You,
Fernando

That is called machine doubling and it happens when the die minting the coins begins to wear and begins to leave ghost impressions that can appear as doubling. It is somewhat common and if you are looking for it it is easily found. Machine doubling is not commonly collectable compared to the more valuable form of doubling called hub doubling which is where the die itself was prepared improperly even before it mints a single coin.

The pictures are very well done. How did you manage to avoid all of the haze and reflection that I usually get from the mint packaging?

Big Andy Thank You for the information,i'll keep looking
and Art to your question, lol, believe it or not those few photos
took me awhile to get right,or decent.I used a low wattage
light bulb@ different angles along with my camera flash on
low intensity and alot of tries.
Thanks again,
