Anyone have any idea what this coin is all about? I did a web search and the only thing I found, the person had no clue.

Sorry about the blur, scanner's not hooked up at the moment.

Looks like a token to me.

Token or medallion. Possibly a club membership piece.

Hmmm.... I'll have to do a bit of searching and asking around town then.

Thanks!

Try this google search for "ctx * vb"

http://www.google.com/search?hs=cNt&hl=en&...%22&btnG=Search

Seems a few more links to similar tokens (number in the middle is different) with a couple of explinations.

What the number may mean:
QUOTE("http://users.pullman.com/fjstevens/tokens/tokens/9230.html")
# There are a number of similar tokens with different numbers. Smaller sized tokens have smaller numbers, so the number may be a measure of diameter.
# John writes: I did find out what they were used for though. I work at a rental car company, and we just had an employee transfer over to our store, Ishowed them to him and he said they used to use those as tokens for running the pay vacuums at car washes. [I'm not sure what size/number this refers to, but these apparently are not "sample" tokens, as I was thinking.]

Maybe an Idea of value:
QUOTE(http://luanatoy.bizland.com/ozden/arctoken.html)
# CTX 302 VB (in circle within circles of dots and fancy design) / ncv (eagle) ncv - NB 23mm (reeded edge) - 75¢
# CTX 318 VB (in circle within fancy border) / ncv (eagle) ncv - NB 25mm (reeded edge) - $1.25

Hope that helps ninja.gif

It does, thanks. There are a lot of places here that this could be from, I'll just have to look and ask around. :-)

Thanks!
