I hate commentaries like this one, pure dreck! Yes, I know I can get emotional when people disagree with my views, but how about some solid arguments against gold? I know there are some, just not in this person's brain. She compares gold returns to mutual funds, well I'm sure glad I didn't buy QQQ in March of 2000 so I could still be down 55%. As for long periods of bad returns, well just because her memory only goes back to the bull market of 1982 doesn't mean we should ignore the tough stock market from 1973-82, or better yet the disaster from 1929-1952! The fact is, the fundamentals are on gold's side right now, and I firmly believe we have entered a secular bull market in metals, that could last another 5-10 years. I can't be sure of the duration, but I can certainly tell you we've reached the top when idiots like this commentator are suddently bullish on gold!

PS- Spot gold is $600.00 as I type this!
