yeah there are die scratches all ver the obverse from cleaning after cleaning

I still like it since it is high relief. Nothing bores me like AU-UNC weak strike 22 peace $.

I heard a sory about the peace dollars that the 21's had such a high releif that they could not stack them without them falling over.

I would gladly take these "ugly" peace dollars off your hands in exchange for boring, plain morgans. That's because I'm crazy and in the minority that prefers the peace design.

The story I heard about the high relief design is- it was unacceptable for the mint to stamp the blanks twice with the low quality dies they used, so they flattened the original design. Rumor had it that Morgan himself flatenned the prototype with a board for production. No compensation was made for the rest of the field and lower, indistinct lettering was the result.

For a 1921, that coin has a nice strike...some Unc. coins have little detail on the wing or hair.

Aside from the date area, that doesn't look too bad for a '21. The reverse is actually nicer than most.
