I will be travelling to Zurich in 2 months and have begun searching for coin related places to visit. Finding such things are not always very easy despite the internet (especially with possible language barriers). So it got me to thinking to begin a thread, (perhaps it can later be morphed into a more usable format?) where people post links/addresses/info/etc about coin related sights of interest in different cities/towns around the world. You never know when you may be travelling somewhere that has an excellent coin museum, or just even a small kiosk where you can hammer your own token. It would be nice to know.

Also in Helsinki is the Bank of Finland's Museum.

The Mint of Finland's retail store is adjacent to the same square as the Bank of Finland's museum. Their web pages are not in English, but here is the address: Unioninkatu 32, 00100 Helsinki.

Will try and add some sites later (currently I am in Southern California, and then in Mexico City for a couple of days ). Hall is a small Austrian town (near Innsbruck, Tyrol) with a neat mint museum set up in Hasegg Castle. Nowadays they don't make coins there any more, but you can still have medals made, and of course visit various old coin presses and the other exhibits.
