Full Version: Hooray! my first US gold!
Last night I posted here regarding purchasing my first US gold coin to add to my world gold collection. The $5 Liberty auction is still going for another day, but I just won the $10 auction I was bidding on! A pretty coin IMHO, and i'm looking forward to receiving it. Just had to share my good news!

Congrats! Its going to feel good holding that first gold coin in your hand. You didn't overpay either. That's easily a $300 coin in this market.

thanks! I'm happy with what I paid. PCGS current price guide (on their website) has this year listed at $415 and trending upward for MS60. I know price guides are subjective, but I paid more than $100 bucks less so i'm pleased.

thanks Stu! I looked around at other MS60-61 in this price range, and wanted a nice flashy gold coin for my first. I think I found the right one!
