K-353b 50 Pfennig Pattern, 1925, D (Munich), Struck Silver, 23.7mm, 2.3g, Schaaf 324G4, RRR, UNC.

Obverse: Deutsches Reich, below two bound sheaves of wheat bound by sickle. Date bisected by wheat stalks over ribbon.

Reverse: Standing Germania ¾ left clothed in sheer garment. She holds a spade in her right hand and cradles a cornucopia in her left arm. “D”mintmark in left field at 9:00 and the denomination “50 PF” in the right field. Incised “KGoeTz” under her feet.

Goetz submitted four 50 Pfennig patterns to the Bavarian mint in 1925 with hopes that the designs would be adopted for new coins. None were accepted.

I was asked on another forum if this coin was cleaned. Is is not. The piece is a lovely matte example although a couple light hairlines can be found at 10:00 on the reverse field.. Otherwise, original.
