In fact, you might find it hard to even convince someone to accept it in change. It would be more appropriate to find a coin like this in a museum of oddities and curiosities but I just can't help including it here.<br.<br> I received this 1994-D Lincoln in change when I was living in Texas. I have no idea how this poor coin ended up in this condition. I have heard various theories from acid treatments to some kind of electrical experiment. My favorite theory is the Shotgun Theory<BR><BR>Even though this coin is barely worth its face value, it currently resides the The Stujoe Collection. I felt it had led a tough enough life and deserved a peaceful retirement. Besides, any time someone brings up an 'ugly coin' contest, it is nice to have this baby in my arsenal.
