That's a great coin. We had a dealer at the last show who had a bunch of Straits Settlement stuff. Strangely enough he was telling me that a lot of the Straits Settlement coins floating around today are counterfeits. Even the coppers.

I'd be surprised if that were true to be honest. While little escapes the forgers arts, I very much doubt that the Straits Settlements stuff has been particularly singled out for heavy production in lieu of any other country.
