The bronze medallic 2 Kronur issued to commemorate 1000 years Althing. Krause Mischler reference Iceland KM-M1 with a total mintage of 20,000 pieces (twice the mintage of the 5 kr and the 10 kr). Minted by the Saxony State mint by private contract.

The only edge marking is the denomination in script (incused) .
I purchased one of these last year in UNC. I love the design. I want to get the 5 and 10 Kronur
icelandic coins are just great!
