i can relate to how when you are busy you may not look really hard. I have been on both ends of coin exchange errors.

taking canadian cents for american and not realizing it
when i worked as a cashier years ago

and just a couple weeks ago, giving a sba i forgot was
in my pocket as a quarter. the cashier didnt catch it
either.

Maybe it's because I'm really into coins, but I've never taken in a "junk" coin before. On the other hand, I have had cashiers scrutunize (sp?) commemorative quarters.

About 1/10th of the pennies that circulate around here are canadian.......No body gives um a second glance.
