The biggest German cash/security transport company, the Heros group, is in insolvency. Seems that several employees embezzled about 300 million euro from Heros customers. The police are investigating; so far four people have been arrested.

Heros and its more than 20 affiliates like Securitas or NordCash had a market share of about 50 percent in Germany. So if you are in DE and don't get your cash from your bank's ATM or a store's cash register in the next few days, you know why.
