Saw this post on the PCGS board about a doctored common Buffalo:

While that is very scarey.... It is also cool to see. Thanks for the post. It makes me want to go check all my coins too but I think I will pass. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

That's quite an operation to undertake on that particular coin. I'm guessing it was practice for something more valuable. Like learning dipping on Lincolns or common Roos.

Hard to believe...

I bet there is an RFID tag in there now.



Another reason I can breathe a relative sigh of relief by collecting primarily boring Finnish coins.
