Blackhawk
Got this toned Jefferson this week. I'm hoping to put together a set of early toned Jeffs (38-64) in a Capitol holder. I ordered the holder from my neighborhood coin dealer yesterday.

very cool!

sharp detail OBV too. Has anyone ever seen toned '42-'45 Jefferson nickels? I'm curious what those would look like with the manganese toning.

I bought this one on impulse just because it looked nice - I'm glad I did, but I like the coloring on Blackhawk's even better..

Both coins are terrific. Nice set to be built Blackhawk -- should be a bit of a challenge. Enjoy it.

Lovely coin. That's going to be a very nice collection when it's finished. Good luck with that.

I love the way Jeffersons tone.

I'm especially crazy about THAT one. mf_napoleon.gif

Here are a couple of nice toned Jeffersons that started out white and spent almost 20 years in a Dansco. They are a lot more colorful than the photos appear.

Purty Jeffs! I think I love toned nickels because they seen to tone with a lot of golden colors and pastels.

Pics don't do it justice,,, I love toned nickels[attachmentid=1137][attachmentid=1137]. You can get them cheaper than the quarters, halves, etc. too.

I don't want to redo it all so here's my toned Jeff's from old CP.
