Okay, I'm going thru the new Whitman's red book. (59 edition, 2006 with the rings) Looking at the grades for Liberty seated dimes (1837-1891) Page 143 And its telling me to look for wear on the eagles breast. I'm so confused unsure.gif blink.gif

how about "scroll edges distinct".....?

seems to me it 's the grading guide for the Variety 2, 1828-1837

I thought maybe they copied and pasted from the quarter or half dollar but it doesn't look like they did that either!
