Very nice. What is the actual span of life for Rubles. Are they still minted?

Silver rubles existed from 1700s till 1924, and that is when communism kicked in and that was the last silver ruble was ever minted. It wasn't until 1977 that the silver rubles kicked into as commemorative coins.
