[attachmentid=1025]I just posted a picture on the omnicoin site, would appreciate if anyone could help on estimated value. This piece is worth a look, you will know once you see it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. P.S. I am going to try to post a pic of the reverse as my avatar momentarily. Thanks bthumbsup.gif

It seems to be a coin used as button or maybe hanged on a belt. It could have been worn as jewelry as well. Curious coin...

Here you have a sale in ebay:

Maybe someone modified this coin confused1.gif

Hi Victor;
Thank you, welcome to the site;
The coin is a "love token" made from what I understand by men for their girlfriend or wife; I believe these were done a lot in the ww1 and ww2 period as well. I put the piece on ebay a few days ago, at this point it is at $25.49 u.s., with around 4-5 days remaining. Should hit at least the $50 mark. Thanks agai9n,

It's a very nice piece. I wouldn't be surprised if it went for more than the 50 estimate. Morgans that are carved like that seem to have been selling well. Good luck with it.
