WOW Bill!!!! Thats soooo totally awesome. Bobby gave me a quick tutorial on hobo nickels. I think they are awesome. What an great talent you have. Is that of someone significant?

it took about 8 hours to carve it..

Whew! You must really enjoy doing those. Maybe sometime you could post pictures of a work in progress. I know I'D love to see one evolve from an Indian Head to a work of art.

Do you create a sketch for yourself first as a guide or do you just directly begin carving?

on this one i tacked a picture on the wall and carved what i saw...my pencil drawings look like a 2 year old drawings, but i can cut metal with gravers and create subjects, i don,t understand it and have given up trying too..sometimes i start carving on a coin and have no ideal what it,ll end up being...
