That is a good idea! Of course, as far as the coins go, he is more interested in selling the ones I have that might be worth something to try to BUY a new tractor! Silly man!

I went to the San Marino site to see if I could get my order in yet, yeah riiight. Probably have to wait four months, then it will be sold out.

@Dvi: Don't know how easy (or not) it will be to get that piece. But by and large San Marino is not as difficult as the Vatican ...

Oh, and then San Marino will also issue this €10 piece:

The 5 euro coin (Andrea Mantegna) will be issued in May and cost €24; the 10 euro piece (Antonio Canova) should come in July and will be €29. Both will be silver pieces, despite the different colors in the pictures from the folder ...

I like this coin. Can you tell us more about the design (inspiration, history, what it represents -- beyond the obvious, etc.).
