I need help, is anyone here able to help me identify this coin/medal?

I am not sure if it is a coin, it is a golden metal, like old gold, it has a diameter of 8 mm and weights 0.3 gr.

Any help would be greatly apreciated!

Thank you!

Looks like a Indian "Fanam".

This is one very similar:

But i don't have my "Friedberg" right now (i'm at work), surely someone can identify it better.

If this coin is a indeed a "Kali Fanan" (fr. 328 - the catalog don't have a specific pic, but others are quite similar), its a coin struck in Travancore (1740-1881).

I'd say it's a Fannam, from India. Some of those approach 24k in fineness.

My son bought something very similar at a coin show recently for a whopping equivalent of $10. But he does now own his own gold coin.

Jose, that is not a Kali Fanam to me. Here's a link where you can find a Kali Fanam.http://www.princelystatecoins.com/travancorecoin2.html
