That's a really cool memory -- and, oh yeah, I'll take ten XF's at that price!

Awhile back we had a Redbook thread going. I have a 1963 with mis-numbered pages that I found out was worth a little more money now than one with the right numbered pages. Here's the prices for a 09-S VDB listed:

I was in 4th and 5th grade in 1963. If my Dad had given me $165 back then to buy a Unc., I would have gone and bought a bunch of cool toys. Like some Army men and a throw glider and stuff. Who wants and old, stupid 09-S VDB anyway! This is my favorite price from the 1963 Redbook. 1893-S Morgan: Ex Fine 125.00 Unc 1,200.00 !!!!! WOW.

just think.. in 28 years we'll be looking back at the 2005 book, drooling..

notice how the grading goes from good to XF and that's it... my '84 copy adds ms60, 63, and 65

and may i add, that in 1984 an svdb in good was worth $275... pretty big jump for only 7 years eh?
