I do, I have carried it in my wallet for about 10 years now. I brought it with me to show my Great Grandmother. I liked it because it was made the year she was born, in 1905. Now that she is gone, I keep it in memory of her.
It is a 1905 Indian cent, it is not a fancy piece, but rather well circulated and shows from having been in my wallet for so long. Now this year would have been her 100th and this coin is now 100 years old.

I keep a WLH in my pocket all the time. Hasn't really started to get extra wear yet (only been two months). Interested to see how the old coins wear compared to modern coins. My other pocket contains a Kennedy Half of roughly the same grade.

They come and go. Currently, I carry a one-ounce silver round commemorating the Texas Rangers, in a plastic "airtite" case. I carry it when I am on patrol as a safety officer. It is in my top shirt pocket over my heart.
I have a sport coat with a French 5 Franc from 1830-something. The outer breast pocket of a sport coat does not get much use, of course, so the coin sits there, toning.
In my checkbook, at the top of the register, under the plastic, is a Moroccan banknote: "Bank of Maghrib." It has been there for about 10 years.
Also, right now, I have been carrying One Traverse City Bay Buck in my wallet -- sometimes it gets pretty lonely, but sometimes it has federal friends.

I carry three coins representing the three traditional mainstream coin metals.
A battered British Charles II gold half guinea from the 1670s. A low grade and counterstamped 1697 British William III Silver halfcrown and a bronze Roman Follis of the Emperor Licinius minted in the early 300 CE era.

That pic is a couple of years old and the SAE is no more. I am also not sure where the Kennedy, the SBA and the Sackie are but I think they are still around the house somewhere.

I've got a 2000-P Sacagawea that I carry around every day now for about 4 years now. I want to see how it wears down, and not much is happening besides turning brown. Think I need to throw a couple more coins in the mix, and wear her down.
I have shoe wheaties! One wheatie each in ma penny loafers. Every time I get new loafers I have to transfer the pennies. Been wearing those pennies about 20 years now.

I usually have a couple of halves in my pocket which I spend pretty regularly (I like supporting the underutilized denominations), and occasionally I carry another more interesting coin with me. I just spent a few days down in Louisville on business and was carrying a 1924-S Peace dollar in my pocket while I was there. Now it's back on my desk.

Anyone have some updates on their pocket piece? Lose it? Spend it? Get a new one?
My 2006 ASE has only left my pocket to switch from pants to pants. Starting to get some scratches from banging against the rest of my change. The "frost" or whatever the finish is called is starting to go away.

Still got my BiCen Ike but I added a Commem Medal that I came across a few months back. I origionally found the medal in the street by my home 30 years ago, it was new then but really scratched and dinged up. Its been in a box in my closet since. When I came across it again I recalled GPNYCs post here and thought that a little wear might improve this piece too. Its a 175 yr anniversary of the city of Baltimore medal.
Some of the sharper dings are starting to wear.

I carry my Bicent Ike because when I was young and dumb I used it as a Pog Slammer. For those of you that don't know what that is, I basicaly used to throw it at the ground on a daily basis. Needless to say the edges were pretty jacked. After having it as a pocket piece for only a couple months the edges have started to smooth nicely.

They definitely are collectable in the Netherlands.
Some stores have their own token, which you can purchace there. But, most are being given away by other companies, as promotional material.
They have the size of a €0.50 coin
There's already a
website dedicated to them (in dutch...)
On the entry page, click in the top menu "
Algemeen" (Common) and then "
Fotogalerij" (photo galery

)
There's also a whole trading section on this site, a store where one can order tokens (they have a selection of more than 100 tokens from The Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom)
