Dumb question- where might I be able to see the 2006 designs?

Rhode Island
Maine
North Carolina

(Actually, they have been getting better. The criticism seems to have helped. I like California -- not top three, but nice. There are others. I put a Nebraska and a new Nickel (bisons on both) on my desk last week.)

1. Connecticut
2. Texas (Man it kills me to admit that!)
3. Missouri

Really, you think so?
Lets look at 2004, where we have Michigan with an outline of their multipart state, Florida with its three disjointed images, Wisconsin with, well, its cheese and cows and extra leaves.
Then we have 2005 with California with its giant bird and disproportionate images, Minnesota with yet another state outline.
Then we get to start 2006 with Nevada's busy image and end with South Dakota's attempt to make the quarter look like a wheat cent and its giant bird.
Many of these artist images will not wear well and look good after a few years in circulation. Have you seen a well worn Indiana yet? You cannot tell what it is without close examination.

Oh okay, I like Kansas and the disjointed Florida too.

1) Maine
2) Vermont
3) Conneticut

What can I say... I like the New England quarters. Rhode Island is nice too. Though I don't care for the Massachusetts or the New Hampshire.

I can pick about a dozen favorites. wink.gif

Three I like as well as any, in no particular order.

Vermont
Maine
Iowa

Every year I can pick ones that I like. I do think 2005 was the best overall year for designs so far. All were strong and I liked every one of them. The only flaw, I think, was MN with the state outline. But, even so, it is a good design.

2006 looks to be pretty good too with only South Dakota being one I probably won't care for. I think 2002 was the bleakest year with only MS rising above the level of yuck. wink.gif.

none, none, and none...I have yet to see one I would pay more than face value for.
