laugh.gif And that is if they do not do the Lincoln in both Zincoln and Copper versions for the mint set. wink.gif
Dockwalliper
Copper, zinc, proof, business strikes, satin finish, silver proofs...

The combinations are mind boggling.
Stujoe
You are not kidding! I used to make fun of the Canadian Mint for some of their stuff but I think we are doing our best to get ahead of them.
Dockwalliper
Add Eagles, First ladies, Bullion coins and the "Normal" commems.

No wonder the mint can't keep up.

I thought they were suspending the Sacagawea while the Presidents were minted?
Tiffibunny
I wouldn't count on those quarters. They keep trying and failing.

Nope, I think the Sackies are going to be minted at the same time...

QUOTE
`(ii) CIRCULATION QUANTITY- Beginning January 1, 2007, and ending upon the termination of the program under paragraph (8), the Secretary annually shall mint and issue such `Sacagawea-design' $1 coins for circulation in quantities of no less than 1/3 of the total $1 coins minted and issued under this subsection.'.
Tiffibunny
So, now are they going to do something to halves? Try and get those circulated again? rofl1.gif
Stujoe
Oh, they almost have to, don't they! laugh.gif Probably not until around 2013/2014, though, if I was a betting man.

Don't worry. Once Privy Marks and Colored coins start being made, the transformation will be complete. wink.gif

Whatever state Sacagawea hails from, (North Dakota??), made sure that the bill included a provision so the unused almost pointless Sac dollar would stay in production.

Just like Virginia had a cow flop over the Monticello reverse being pulled off the nickel. Kind of funny how one small tail wags the whole freaking dog.

The bill has passed the House 3 out of 4 times it was introduced. The problem is the these territories have Reps in the House but none in the Senate. No one to introduce and push it. So it dies each time.

Probably $59 bucks for all those coins.

Inflation will have rendered all the current 2005 coins worthless. In fact coins maybe a thing of memory and reflection then if the current trend is not bucked.
