Please look at this Morgan. It looks like it has water spots on it. Has been dipped? The first pics I took of it, I thought it was reflection from the plastic in the 2x2. But the spots are on the coin.

some coins are just spotty from the get go.....other times it can be caused by storage conditions.

Yeah, some uncirculated coins just have that effect in the luster, but dipping and rinsing can also leave spots. This applies to the light spotting like yours shows, but dark spotting is usually from a reaction to contact with something that causes toning.
