**DUMB QUESTION ALERT**

I have read this a few times and I have an idea I think but what excatly is a "Type set"?

Don't laugh to hard.
Burks
Very nice set. The 1853 is eye catching to me.

Coinmonster,
A type set is just one example of each design. So a type set of Lincoln cents would be one wheat, one memorial reverse, and a steel cent.
Having too much fun, Joey

That's just a matter of definition....

My lincoln type set contains a little more:

wheat PDS (Philadelphia , Denver, San Fransisco)
wheat steel PDS
memorial copper-zinc PDS + S-proof
memorial copper plated zinc PDS

Well, don't feel too stupid. I did not know exactly either. I thought it was one of each design, and of each year.
