Yup that is a UK sovereign all right. Nice one too! Looks like he is fairly comfy on the carpet there. I have George on the half, so I still need this one. When is your "waiting period" up?


It is gold, and about 4.5 million were struck. From the image, it appears to be very close to Unc with perhaps some storage rub. The obverse may have some wear, but I find that George always seems to give the appearance of a weak strike. Krause catalogues it at 130USD, but of course actual selling value will vary.
