I have recently obtained a mis-printed £20 pound uncirculated note and was wondering whats your opinion. It is definitely not a fake as it has all the security features and has been confirmed by my local bank. So if any of you have any information about this note it would be greatly appreciated, especially a valuation. Here is a picture

This missed a last printing. The value is definately enhanced by the fact that HRH is quite noticeably absent from the note. I see similar but maybe a bit less dramatic errors with Scottish, usually Bank of Scotland notes from time to time going for about £200 or so. I have a feeling this is a bit pricier, it is English, and is quite a dramatic error.

Im not really a collector of notes and was wondering where i would sell the object and i was wondering where u have seen them be sold, or would u recommend keeping hold of it. Thanks for your help.

If you don't need the cash, keep it. Otherwise I'd be happy to buy it from you and I'll pay £30 in small notes...

i e-mailed the webmaster for a scan, just to make sure the notes have the same error. i'll repost when she replies.

nope, her error is a different type. i suggest sending the scan to various british note dealers to get their opinion. and post back here to let us know what they say!
