Of course, but in catalogues that coin is listed at Poland.
Markkas with tzar's eagle are Russian coins? I guess not!
Anyway I am curious if the silver was Russian...

A package was delivered to my parent's house that is hopefully my ANACS Walking half I won off Ebay.....

I was right! 1942-S ANACS VF-35 Walker half. Very nice coin with the most luster I've ever seen on a Walker in this grade. Well worth the, basically, pocket change I paid for it.

i'm not worried about that. it was, effectively, defective, and i paid full price for a coin in uncirculated condition. they're still minting and shipping coins (people have received postcards telling them to expect their coin in november!) so i'm not too worried.

Today was one of those "good" days. I received my two Marine Commems, 4 rolls of the Kansas buffalo quarters, and the American Legacy Collection of coins all from the Mint, and a 1992 slabbed American Eagle.

Got back from a great vacation on the Dutch (actually Zeeuws) North Sea. We had mostly gorgeous weather, except for the last two days. (But I like it that way - makes getting back to "real life" easier, hehe.) And I have mail from some great Coin People here. ok.gif Auction coins from Anton and Tiff, and a neat package from Sir Sisu. Thank you all!

(And now, back to unpacking and doing the laundry.)

Neat! That is actually the only year for the grapes type 2 DM coin. (People found it to be too close to the 1 DM piece, size and design wise, so after a few years it was replaced by another type.) Not exactly rare but still worth more than the "mass pieces" that came out later ...
