Finally received this 1982-P 'no FG' Kennedy half. It goes with my 1983-P. The designer's initials, 'FG' were polished off the dies. I also am posting a link to a comparison photo closeup (122K) of this coin and a normal 1982-P.

All the auctions that I won from Jose. There was some really great stuff in there! There were probably only 2 coins that I already had (different dates), while most were from countries that I had none from. I really loved the Portuguese Beauties! mf_lust.gif
And it was worth it just for the coin below. Check the text on the reverse. biggrin.gif I wonder does it mean "first" or "food"?? confused1.gif .............. wink.gif

Thanks for the great stuff Jose!! After looking through the Krause with these, I noticed some great looking designs. I will have to bother you some to see if you have any. tongue.gif

Well today my daughter got a very convincing 1847 counterfeit Seated Liberty Dollar, and a 1917 USA One Dollar bill, she is on cloud ten right now. She still can't believe the USA made such large dollar bills.

A postcard from the mint telling me that my Marine Corps commem will be shipping soon....They are referring to the Marine Corps that I received last week. laugh.gif

The great news is that I got my auction winnings from Stujoe, the nicest "junk" silver I've bought since the 1980s (when you could routinely find barber and seated stuff in the junk silver bins).

The other news is that I got a post card from the mint saying my Marine Corps silver dollar was scheduled to ship between 10/31 and 11/1, and noting that I should ignore whatever it said on the website because the postcard was more accurate. confused1.gif

Last night brought a couple more British folders:

2001 £2 Marconi
2003 £2 DNA

Oh boy was the mailman nice today!

First the 93 German coins from Stu came in.

Second, my ANACS 1899-O MS-63 toned Morgan came in. This coin is toned red around the edge turning to an orange and then finally a bright green in the center (obverse). Reverse is mostly dark but still nicely toned. This coin has a ton of luster to it, can't wait to scan it smile.gif

There's a link to the exact coin. The color are much deeper and richer than the picture.

Coins from Tiff. She may not be around but her "presents" are still felt.

Interesting linen bag from the Royal Canadian Mint, dated 1963 it held $60 worth of Canadian cents that year. I wonder why $60 and not $50, unless the Canadians just wanted to be different eh?

Also an early 1960's Federal Reserve Bank bag from the FRB in Chicago.

No, I don't collect these, they have uses, like storing bulk lots of British pennies etc.

Books from Art! Perfect timing. I will put the Sherlock Holmes book in my bag in case I get called to respond to Rita.

They sure have changed the Redbook in the last year or two. It looks real good. Love the Bonus book too!
