Mailman brought some more bills and four beautiful large cents. The pics of two are in my Large Cent collection thread. The rotated die and the repunched 1. I'll load pics of the other two tonight.

Today is a nice day

A japanese 50 Sen of 1911, and some other old japanese, russian and austrian coins.

Received a 1979 "D" Susan B. Anthony dollar for my type set, as well as a set of 1943 Steel cents, "D", "P" and "S". The "S" will definitely go in my type set, the others may as well, if they're better grade than the ones I already had.

Ooh, I got 4 proof sets, 1 silver proof set, one mint set, 4 Jefferson Nickels for my albums, 2 Kennedy Halves for my albums, 1 Belarus Commem, 1 Ukranian Commem, and three dollar bills.

I havent had much in the mail lately but bills. Been on kinda a coin buyihng stop... But as a couple of you prolly just read your PMs... I think I just spent about $25 here and might be spendin $60 more on ebay within a couple days.

Only thing coin-related I got was the latest issue of the Numismatist and some advertisement from the Postal Commemorative Society.

Friend in Australia sent me 10 sets of penny series for the youth at the coin club. A large penny, small penny, half penny and a two penny coin in each set. Dates vary, and grade all at VG to F. Will be great door prizes for the youth. Nice to have acquaintances in far off lands.

Coming home from Sweden I had lots of great stuff waiting for me from T'buuny, a heavy one from Trantor, a few eBay purchases, etc.

The most recent items are the short snorter note and a fabulous box from Abish!!!!

This arrived today!

GST cheque for 86.00. I know it isn't coins or notes but it can be if thats what I spend it on.

I received an Oregon statehood quarter.
Of course, the "mailman" only delivered it because he was being paid to perform his duties.

The reason I got it was that there are other people in this hobby who know what it means to be a "coin collector".

US Mint sent 2 Proof Sets, I really like the reverse of the nickels.

Monday: New auction catalog from ANR, and my Merc dimes from skor....'s auction here.

ANR catalog and a stack of programs from the Whitman Expo that was held in Atlanta a few weeks ago. Whitman was kind enough to send me a few since they used a picture of Joe in it!

I can finally add something here. I got a Polish coin through yesterday. One commemorating John Paul II. It does bear a rather odd resemblence to a certain crown dated 1965. Although i hadn't noticed this until i'd won the giveaway. Eek.

hehe, I guess we don't need to guess that crown.....

I received some cool bonuses today that came with payments: a cool 200 smackers note, a Minnesota-D state quarter, a Jeff nickel and a World Coin News newspaper!

I would love to get a subscription to it, but it is way too pricey for Europe delivery.
