Feel free to move this to the PCI forum if you think is approriate. smile.gif

So far how do you think of the competition? It seems that the competition is heading in a very unpredictable way!!! There are times when I expect a coin to win so easily, only when to find out that I am wrong! shok.gif

Some cool coins up already. Im waiting for my turn. My two coins are sort of off the beat and path of the all the others. They could go either way. But that is why we run the competition!

You mean the first round of the PCI5 competition?

I voted for: That's it - I am going to buy more awesome coins. evilbanana.gif
That's the thought I get after every PCI.

I love PCI! bhyper.gif

The coin you expect never wins. blol.gif

Me too. I am not sure there has ever been a PCI where I didn't buy (or try to buy) a coin similar to at least one I saw entered. laugh.gif I even bought the actual overall winner once. rofl1.gif

The unwritten rule of PCI, "it ain't over till it's over!" I've seen coins take the lead early on and you think "that's so got through", by the time the curtain falls though it's ended on a draw, which means everything rests on the flip of a coin. That's when the lead favourite loses.

Something else i've noticed is that if a competition ends on a draw and one of my coins is in it, then mine always loses on the coin flip! Everytime! Of course when it's mine against mine that's when my least favourite of the pair wins!

PCI is just not fair! But we still put our selves through it all over again every season without fail, a la Stu's Croc coin. One day gods dammit it's gonna win!

So far i'm sat back watching to see how the new grouping system by age works... looks good so far. ok.gif

You and me both! And I always get the worst draws too in the first round. laugh.gif

/Me thinks thats wrong. If a persons coins end up against eachother, AND end in a tie... that person should pick the coin to move on. Just my thought.

The rest seems to be moving smoothly. I cant wait for mine to show up.

All I can say about the previous PCI is that I'm very glad that the winner coin was mine ok.gif (it is not mine anymore!) and that a similar one was offered by Tiffibunny for Kathrina Relief Auction. She wants one months before the final, unfortunately I was unable to find one for her in decent condition until late August, and when she got it, she generously donated it hi.gif
For these reasons, the previous PCI was a full succes for me! bhyper.gif yahoo.gif

I never thought of doing that. I'm happy to run it past everyone though.

Buy more awesome coins is my answer. Gosh the designs are so wonderful it makes the voting quite difficult.

I missed entering coins. I just cant get that omni coin website page to load correctly. All the text overlaps which makes it impossible to read.

Hope that you will be back in PCI6... cry.gif

I must say, this is the most voting that I can recall.

Just needed a little time to catch on. One day PCI will be world famous... biggrin.gif

It seemed that way to me too. It seems to increase every season.

There are some very tight races this round!

I was thinking the same thing!
Tiffibunny
Extremely close ones. Crazy!
Tiffibunny
ACK, both of mine are in ties!
Sir Sisu
gpnyc and akdrv cleaned up this last round. Anton even beat himself! laugh.gif Looking at the competition, I think I am going to get cleaned out myself this round. unsure.gif
Stujoe
I think I still have 2 in the running but I don't expect either to go much further! I am surprised my little HTT has made it this far. I did think the Marine Corps would be ok for a couple of rounds.
jtryka
After that coinflip I lost, I can see my entries going down in flames pretty quick...
Peter
There are some diehard copper collectors(incl me grin.gif ) plus Gold also attracts votes(a gold washer would seemingly do quite well) but overall its a fair reflection of the majority.
There are some great coins out there which I didn't no existed.
I will stick my neck out and say a medal/no coin is going to be crowned champion.
Stujoe
Exonumia is looking strong. But so are a couple of other categories!
