Overall, it was a pretty good show. The usual suspects were there from my local area and parts of Southern Illinois. Seemed to be more slabs this year than past years. Moslty PCGS and NGC with a few ANACS around. Very few 'other' services. Lots of Morgans. Even some decent toners. Very little world stuff. Maybe 2 dealers that had anything significant in the world coins area. A bit of exonumia and a few errors. Mostly at this show you are going to find a lot of more modern stuff (Walkers, Frankies, Mercs, Buffs, Lincolns, IHC's, etc) with a number of type coins and other stuff thrown in.
I bought only a couple of things. A No Cent Lib nick and a Arrow and Rays quarter for the type set and 3 SLQ's for the 1900 to present set. I did not bust the budget by any means and walked out with money in my pocket. Part of that is because there is a very large show in StL this month that I am budgeting for.
The only thing I kick myself on is that I did not ask the price on a love token (Seated Dime) with an S on it that I saw. The guy wasn't at his table when I saw it and I forgot to get back to that table. Oh well.
Anyway, it is the first show I have been able to get to in over a year and it made for a pleasant morning.
