Anyone collect these?
Sir Sisu
No, I do not actively collect any tokens of any sort. I do have some that I have saved through the years, and if I ever come across some I usually keep them. And none of them look as new as the one above! biggrin.gif

Nice one!

That's a neat token. A lot of people are really into collecting casino tokens. I think there's even a national club dedicated to it.

I collect Casino Chips biggrin.gif Most are clay but I have some metal ones.

I have about 30 I would say. Mostly from Casinos that I have been to. I usualy just walk up to a table and ask for a $1 chip, stick it in my pocket and Im on my way... ok sometimes I sit down and play wink.gif

Thats a nice one. Most of the metal ones that I have seen look horrible because of being slammed together all day.

Thanks for the prize winnings Sir, came today in the mail. The token came in a hard plastic case, on the other side it says .999 fine silver I don't know what year they issued this one. Funny that it made it to Value Village in Abbotsford BC, It was in a baggie full of assorted world coins for 3.99. biggrin.gif

I am pretty sure they are kinda modern....last 15 yrs or so I would guess but I don't know which were issued in which year..I will do some research tommorow but I think it's like one of those quarter machines at the store....you get which ever one it picks....and I think they were all made around the same time...I have seen quite a few of them and they are in an oversized slot machine in the casinos.....

Coins at Value Village? That's virtually unheard of!

Weird isn't it but the V.V. in Abbotsford is money hungry. I go about every second week to see whats under the glass case and usually there is 2-4 baggies with assorted world coins and also bank notes. I got a Hong Kong banknote there last week. The coins are usually grossly overpriced and I only buy a bag if there is something in it that I want. They sell for 1.99 - 9.99 depending on the amount of coins. They will price a bag at 7.99 and it will have a bunch of useless tokens and some modern foreign coins that probaly equal 80 cents. But I go look just in case! grin.gif
