Coins over tokens.

I'm in the minority, going for the half crown.

I do like that half crown a lot, but there is no way I can let that beautifuly high-detailed architecture on the York go unvoted for

I don't like th halfcrown (it's not Auld Fartte's coin in particular it the overall design that i don't like, never have).

Now if it had been a 1900 Florin, i would have backed it the whole way through. The florins (and shillings) were the best design of the old head coinage.

I mostly like the reverse of the Halfcrown (I think everyone knows my opinion of that obverse ) but I like both sides of that token! Nice one!

I don't like the old head obverse either.

York Token

About 15 minutes left on this... but i think it's quite clear who the winner is and nearly as clear about which coin has won!

Should i break it to him gently or scream from the rooftops that Auldfartte has won?!

With a sig line like the one he flaunts, I had my money on that Auldfartte horse right from the get-go.

It was a close one but i'm glad that that particular Auldfartte won, i'm not keen on the other Auldfartte that didn't!

I have two reasons for voting for the York coin/token

The first is due to it's beautiful artistic design, the second is because I live nearby in South Yorkshire, England and have been right up to the landmarks it depicts, Clifford's tower and what appears to be it's famous Minster
