1817 George III Shilling.

The medalion was produced in loads of different metals and on a different forum there are numerous people thinking they have found a unique coin....its not in any of the standard catalogues.
George 111 was no beauty and his coins are in my opinion are good value.
A shilling in 1817 would of got you a decent night out...with extras shok.gif

George III is very underrated you know. Sure he had big bulging eyes but the workmanship on the coins was exceptional.
