Looks pretty genuine to me. biggrin.gif

I think the crutch adds that extra touch of authenticity. rofl1.gif

Not sure it would get that rating. Look at the fur; obvious lamination error.

Definitely it's a fake! Look at the colour: brown = bronze. Looking in Krause you will not find any Buffalo made from copper! Quo erat demonstrandum! bleh.gif

OMG, A NEW GENUINE ERROR!!!

shok.gif

And wait, it's in color too!!! No toning can possibly do that!!! shok.gif

IT has broke MS-70 record!!!

Well, well... On the other hand it looks a bit altered.

Nice error! laugh.gif

The last time I was in South Dakota, I found a rare, two headed buffalo. It looks like it was probably struck off center too. wink.gif

The color really does assure a bodybag.

Actually they had me going until I remembered all the genuine coins had the dots under the belly but also had a D mintmark under the buffalo.

Something about this one might not be kosher.
cladking
On the plus side it looks like it's a weak strike because of the indistinct lettering and the virtual lack of horn detail; it would be low-grade anyway.

I was going to mention something about that 'effect' on the real coin but the first thing that came to my mind was not appropriate. laugh.gif
