I'm entering the hospital on Tuesday for a knee replacement and would like to have a related giveaway. A previous surgery purposely made my leg crooked so the knee joint would wear on the better side. There were two large bone staples put in at that time. My surgery will be to remove those staples, replace the joint, and straighten my leg back out.
The contest is this...guess the difference in the length of my legs after the surgery is completed...only one guess per person please. The winner will get a nuckle joint suitable for your dog or birdfeeder.
....just joking of course.

(I hope). Just post on this thread to win a nice but undetermined at this time item. I'll draw the winner from all contestants when I get back (hopefully two weeks).

don't know about after but my dad is getting ready to have a knee replaced and one leg is 4.5" shorter than the other. I hope they fix the right knee or he'll only be able to walk one way on the side of a hill.

Hear ye, Hear ye, the contest is officially closed.
I'm home again after my surgery and as of now all looks OK.
What I did was assign a number to each poster according to the order of their post (i.e. #1 -LostDutchman, #2-Daggit, and so on). I then used an online random numbers generator to pick one number out of all the posters...and the winners number is - #11. Dockwalliper, you're the winner of the giveaway. Drop me a PM with your collecting interests and address and I'll pick something out and send it to you.
Thanks for participating!
