Hi guys! my name is Matt! I am 22 years old and run Lost Dutchman Rare Coins in Indianapolis. (your are prob thinking yeah great another dealer trying to sling his goods) that's not the case. I am just as big of a collector as each of you. I love early dollars draped bust, seated and trade as well as morgans. I also enjoy teaching kids (and adults) about our hobby. Just wanted to say Hi and I will try to be as much help as I can to anyone with questions on the board!

Did the rules make it over from the old site Tiff? I was looking for them the other day and could not find them.

Other than the blurb under the forum, I guess the About The Advertising Forums is missing. I shall contact the archivist.

The lost dutchman mine was a famous mine in AZ here in the United States. The former owner of this shop thought it was catchy! and it has had the same name since 1985 so why change a good thing!!

when it's announced, we all can enter one or more coins in several categories. then the person whu runs it, will pick two contestants in each category and let us all vote for the one we like best. The winner gets to the next round the other one is out.
In the end there's one coin left , the overall winner.
I'm sure when it's time to enter coins, more details will be reveiled in the PCI forum

Hurray, another Hoosier!
Hi, Matt--I'm Kat from Evansville. I'm new to 'proper' coin collecting practices and I've already learned tons from the marvelous CoinPeople folks!
You can be the intelligent ambassador from Indiana and I'll hold on to my current position as ambassador of silliness from Indiana. You can catch me in the Asylum most of the time.
Enjoy yourself and don't hesitate to ask questions--there's a lot of smart people here!
