This page lists collectors meetings; also see the PDF link at the top.
Numismata is in Munich, but this year they also have a show in Frankfurt http://www.numismata.de/frankfurt/fra_start.htm Problem is, that is not in October either but in early November ...

If you go to Munchen, in the right side of Hauptbahnhof (Central Railway station) you'll find one of the best coinshops.
