Anniston Coin and Jewelry closing to make way for Walgreen's

I'm afraid that this scenario is repeated over and over in towns across the country. It has been playing out for quite a few years now. It's just too hard for a small business of any kind to stay open in the face of the monster companies.

I think we have something like 6 Walgreens in Ocala and it's a fairly small town.

no doubt they're all next to starbucks

I feel lucky, for now, knowing my coin shops are off the beaten path away from potential big company takeovers.
